A Great Day for Fellowship!

Moberg Family 2021.JPEG

It was nice visiting this week with Pastor Tim and Laura Moberg and their 13-month old twins, Levi and Judah.  Tim serves the Lord as pastor of Bridal Veil Community Church (near Corbett) - in the same building where I was interim Pastor of Springdale Community Bible Church back in 2002-2003.  When Tim is not preaching the gospel, he is hard at work for Daimler North America (I think he helps make White Star Trucks).  Laura spends her days corralling the boys, who are just now learning to walk; and constructing some amazing Lego structures!

Time for Prayer
The monthly Portland area Pastor's Prayer meeting has been moved to April 29 at Woodland Park Chapel.

Shiloh Basin Community Church starts Pastor Search
With Pastor Mat Neahring moving to Calvary Baptist Church in Manzanita next month, his congregation at Shiloh Basin is praying the Lord is even now preparing a new shepherd to lead their country congregation.  As I type, I am just about to begin a meeting with Pastor Mat and Elder Scott Brownlow to discuss how InFaith can help in the process.  You can help too, by adding Shiloh to your prayers.

Men, Are You ready for a Retreat?
The Church on the Mountain Men's Group sure is!  They are taking registration now for their annual getaway to Camp Morrow, June 4-6.  Pastor Tex Newman will encourage the guys in their walk with Christ, while a few others will encourage them in their disc golf, fishing and eating skills!  If you would like to join in, please contact the church at tcotm@hotmail.com.

Construction Helpers Needed at Mtn Home Church and Dodge Community Church
Mountain Home elder John Abraham says his church could use the assistance of a plumber, an electrician and an experienced carpenter, and a number of willing helping hands, once their renovations begin this summer.  ADA improvements and upgrades to their century-old sanctuary are being partially founded with assistance of a loan from Sunday School Fellowship.  Contact John at 503-320-2224.

Dodge deacons are also looking for some guidance as they plan to rebuild their church, which burned down last fall.  The church is hoping an experienced (or perhaps retired) contractor may be willing to supervise their project, which is still in the planning and fund-raising stages.  Contact deacon Tony Skoien at 503-630-4585.

May Our Father above fill your week with His love!
