Meeting New Friends

Pastor John Valnes, Little Church in the Valley, Stabler, WA

Caroline and I were blessed to meet with new friends this Sunday at Little Church in the Valley in Stabler, Washington.  The Little Church was in fellowship with American Missionary Fellowship years ago, and now is desiring to grow closer with the InFaith family.  Thank you to Pastor John Valnes and his wife Lisa for inviting me to speak.  Pastor John served at Woodland Park Chapel for a couple years, earlier in his ministry.  He and his wife Lisa also joined us for Advance 2022 in January.

Dr David Day led in joyful music at George Community Church Hymnsing, April 24, 2022.

Praises Ring at George Community Church!
Several InFaith: Northwest Oregon congregations were represented Sunday evening at the George Community Church Hymnsing.  Dr. David Day and friends led us in a couple hours of lively expression of our love and adoration for Jesus.  (Thanks Connie Smith, for putting this together!)  We are hoping to organize an InFaith: Northwest Oregon Hymnsing at another fellowship church as spring turns to summer.

Did You Miss the Sandy Area Pastors’ Breakfast?
That’s OK.  We have another coming up May 18 at Tollgate Inn at 9 AM.  Pastors, elders and ministry leaders need times to decompress, to share with one another, and hear what the Lord is doing around them.  That’s what we do every month (usually the third Wednesday).  And…we also eat!

Surrounded by Brethren and Angels
Tuesday morning’s online prayer meeting with InFaith executive director Jerry Iamurri, the home office staff and numerous other missionaries from across the country was a great reminder that none of us are ever alone in our ministry, no matter what the adversary would have us think.  Our Lord has surrounded us with millions of co-laborers and an unseen army of angels guarding and protecting us as we walk in His way.   May you all sense that joint purpose and divine protection in your service to Him this week.
