Dear Friend of InFaith: Northwest Oregon:  A short note this week, but it starts with exciting news…

Children’s Ministry Workshop Coming in October! InFaith’s national director of children’s ministry resources Brett Belleque is coming to Northwest Oregon in October to encourage, train, and entertain those who want to reach out to children in the name of Jesus!  Brett and his wife Cindy will lead a children’s ministry workshop October 20 and 21 at Carver Church in Damascus, OR.  The Belleques use puppetry, illusion, balloon-tying and other performing arts to reach children with the Gospel, and they would like to share their gifts with you.  The workshop will begin Friday afternoon/evening with an entertaining gospel presentation for children from churches throughout InFaith’s Northwest Oregon field. Then, Saturday will be filled with active sessions exploring numerous ways to grow your church’s ministry to kids.  More details are coming as the workshop planning is underway!

 It was a joy to share from the Word this Sunday with the congregation of Shiloh Basin Community Church (Rainier) and to sit in on a few new member interviews at the church that afternoon.  It is a blessing to hear folks share how Jesus called them to follow Him in life and beyond!  I am looking forward to speaking this coming Sunday with the folks at Woodland Park Chapel (Portland).

On the personal side: Caroline and I have been blessed with some special time with extended family members over the past few weeks.  We are truly thankful to the Lord for each one of them, and for each one of you, our partners in ministry.  Please continue to pray for us as we pray God will continue to bless abundantly as you serve Him day to day.
