From the Mountain to the Valley
Blessings, Friend of InFaith: Northwest Oregon!  Caroline and I were blessed to worship Sunday at The Church on the Mountain in Welches.  Thanks, pastor Thomas Robinson and worship leader Judy Simon for an inspiring service.  That afternoon, I was also pleased to meet with the board at The Little Church in the Valley in Stabler, Washington, where pastor John Valnes and other leaders are seeing the Lord’s long-term plans for their fellowship begin to take shape.  I won’t spill the beans on what it appears He has in store for them and their community.  We will all learn soon enough.  Let it suffice to say the He provides for those who follow where He leads!  Praise His Name!

 And the joy of serving this growing fellowship of church families continues.  Here are a few upcoming blessings you may want to participate in.

Pastors’ Prayer This Thursday Ministry leaders from throughout the InFaith family in Northwest Oregon are invited to join us for prayer this Thursday, May 11 at 10 AM at Woodland Park Chapel.  Come share the joys of ministry in your community and intercede for the needs of other shepherds and congregations serving the Lord alongside you.

 Ministry Leaders’ Breakfast Next Week InFaith: Northwest Oregon’s monthly Sandy Fellowship Breakfast is Wednesday, May 17th at 9 AM at Tollgate Inn.  Pastors, elders and others involved in leading their congregations in their walk with Jesus are invited to join us for a no-host hour of fellowship and sharing.

TCOTM Men’s Retreat is coming June 2-4! If you haven’t registered for The Church on the Mountain’s annual men’s getaway at Camp Morrow, there might still be a bunk or two available.  Email Churchotmountain@gmail.com now for information!

     If you can’t make it to the retreat, you can join me at TCOTM on June 4th.  Pastor Robinson has invited me to share the Word with his congregation while he is away with the guys that Sunday.

Plans Underway for ADVANCE 2024 Mark this one on your calendar: InFaith: Northwest Oregon’s Advance conference is scheduled for January 19-21, 2024 at Twin Rocks Friends Camp in Rockaway Beach, Oregon.  The uplifting weekend is open to pastors, elders, missionaries, other church leaders and their spouses from InFaith connected ministries in this field.  Registration will be available some time in November 2023.  Watch here for future developments!
