It was a wonderful blessing to meet Saturday, June 4, with members of New Life in Christ Church (Portland), a Mienh congregation that has been served by InFaith senior missionary Irene Britton for several years.  The occasion was a celebration of the 80th birthday of Foohinh Fo Seachao, the brother of Pastor Seng Fo Chao .  In the worship service, Pastor Seng Fo invited me to speak, and translated as I shared my personal testimony and the plan of Salvation through Jesus Christ.  Thank you, Pastor Seng Fo for introducing me to your congregation!

Rejoicing on the Mountain
Sunday, June 6 it was a joy to again speak at The Church on the Mountain (Welches) as Pastor Thomas Robinson and many of the men were away at a retreat at Camp Morrow.  Caroline was blessed as worship leader Judy Simon invited her to join in leading music.  I enjoyed talking afterward with several people who were encouraged by the message from 2 Kings 18-19.  Thanks to elder Tim Simon for driving back from the retreat to lead the service, and for the great time of fellowship afterward.  And thanks to the entire TCOTM congregation for always being so welcoming and supportive of the ministry of InFaith: Northwest Oregon.

Men’s Roundup is coming September 9-11
An important deadline is much sooner!

Church Venture Northwest’s annual gathering of Godly guys at Camp Tadmor is not that far away.  If your church is planning to bring a group, there are some deadlines and special offers you don’t want to miss…including a free pass for your pastor if your church has 10 or more paid registrants. Applications for cabins or yurts must be received by Friday, June 17 in order to be included in the lottery for those accommodations.  (I will probably just bring my RV or tent.)
