Carver Church Partners in Mission to Mexico
Carver Church in Damascus, OR invites you to join in support for their upcoming mission trip to Mexico in July.  Here are the details from Carver pastor Seth Lewis:

 We are partnering with "Welcome Home Outreach" (WHO, https://welcomehomeoutreach.org) 12 people are going (two from outside church).

 The team will be focused on building a house for a very needy family who currently resides in a cardboard structure. They work in the strawberry fields and WHO takes care of their children during the work day. 

 It will be a huge encouragement to Welcome Home Outreach missionaries and staff if we can bring some items they can use: kids' shoes (3-year-old up to 10 years old; play shoes not dress shoes), socks, adult T-Shirts for Staff/Volunteers, Paper Towels, TP, napkins. We will be packing these items in suitcases that will be left behind. People can pack a small suitcase they want to part with and deliver it to Carver Church from the door or can call me at 503-621-6868.

 Pray without Ceasing
Prayers are needed this week for former area missionary Alan Baumgarden and family members, who are experiencing Covid; Meagan Bath (wife of field director Nathan Bath) as she will undergo surgery tomorrow (Thursday); Pastor Mark Helmberger and family as he continues to battle cancer; and Laura Skogan, wife of Lighthouse pastor Bill Skogan, as she recovers from a mild stroke.

Men’s Roundup is coming - September 9-11
Applications for cabins or yurts at Men’s Roundup must be received by Friday, June 17 in order to be included in the lottery for those accommodations.  ( I will probably just bring my RV or tent.)   Check out the event website at www.mensroundup.com .

Portland Pastors’ Prayer, Thursday, June 23, 10 AM at Woodland Park Chapel
The Lord has given Caroline and me an enjoyable week of ministry so far:  Sunday, Caroline helped lead worship at Aims Community Church; Tuesday we had a great gathering with leaders from Hudson Park Bible Church, Columbia Bible Church, and Deer Island Community Church at our monthly NWxNW fellowship; today I am meeting with church leaders in the Sandy area for our monthly fellowship breakfast, and Sunday we will be helping lead worship in music and in Word at Woodland Park Chapel in Portland.
