Another Laborer for the Harvest!
InFaith approved candidate Wayne Wrzesinski of Castle Rock, WA spoke with church leaders at the NWxNW fellowship meeting Tuesday, May 10 at Columbia Bible Church (Rainier). Wayne, who has served as a youth pastor in the past, is currently raising support to begin a video ministry which will serve as both an outreach and discipleship tool. Many thanks to Bonny Klukas for hosting our gathering. The next NWxNW is scheduled June 14 at 9 AM at Deer Island Community Church.
Bonita Sale Provides Ministry Resources
Our partners at Sunday School Fellowship are thanking the Lord for finalizing the sale of the former Bonita Community Church building in Tigard this week. After decades of ministry in that community, and months of prayerful deliberation, SSF was led to part with the building, which was in declining condition. The new owners apparently have plans to use the facility as part of a community food pantry. Revenues from the sale will be reinvested by SSF into its efforts to support the work of InFaith in northwest Oregon. Many thanks to the Sunday School Fellowship Board: Seth Lewis, Alan Baumgarden, Frank Campbell, Jim VanVoorst, Bonny Klukas, Robert Klukas and Scott Brownlow.
Walmart Grant Available
Food pantries are among several types of ministry projects that could be funded through the 2022 Walmart Community Grant program, which is available to local churches and non-profits. InFaith’s Jeane Andreozzi says the program is accepting grant proposals until December 2022 for Community Projects like food pantries, camps, summer education programs, after-school tutoring programs, etc. For a copy of the guidelines and an application form, send a note to thiscox@infaith.org .

Caroline and I are thanking God for successful surgery on our eight month old grand-daughter Autumn Grace last Friday at Randall Children’s Hospital. Five important procedures were performed in about 3 hours as multiple doctors addressed various complications from Down Syndrome. Autumn came through it beautifully…and was back home just 24 hours later, smiling, giggling and energetic. What an amazing blessing! Thank you for your prayers!
