January 13, 10 AM, Portland Area Pastors’ Prayer
Meet us this Thursday morning at Woodland Park Chapel (1914 NE 102nd Ave, Portland) for our first pastors’ prayer time of 2022.  Join your prayers with others for the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our Northwest Oregon Communities.  Lift up fellow servants of Christ before the Lord and share the needs and concerns of your own ministry and family with fellow shepherds who care.

January 19, 9 AM, Sandy Area Pastors’ Breakfast
If you need a little food with your fellowship, we have it at the Sandy Area Pastors’ Breakfast, Wednesday, January 19th at Tollgate Inn in Sandy (right on Highway 26).  Folks, I may need your help this month…January 19th is the morning of my granddaughter’s open-heart surgery.  So if one of you “regulars” would be willing to help corral the breakfast crowd, please drop me a note at thiscox@infaith.org.

The time for my annual report to the InFaith Home Office is quick
If you haven’t registered yet for ADVANCE 2022 at Twin Rocks Friends Camp, please click here to sign up!  We have several cabins left to fill, but only one Deluxe Lodge unit still available.  It can be yours if you are first to sign up today…we will still have room for you if you just show up at the event.  But it sure helps if we know how many meals and rooms to plan for.  We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend of fellowship with pastors, missionaries and their spouses from across the Northwest Oregon field.

ASAP! 2022 InFaith Northwest Oregon Ministry Information Form
The deadline for my annual report to the InFaith home office is quickly approaching.  One of the things I include in that report is a summary of all the ministries we serve through InFaith: Northwest Oregon.  To help me create that “snapshot” of what the Lord is doing among our fellowship, I am asking every fellowship church and mission point to complete a brief Church Ministry Information Form and send me a copy.  It should take only a few minutes of your time, but just might save me hours on the phone.  Please click on the image of the form or look for the form and instructions at www.nworinfaith.org/admin. Prayer Requests
Please remember to pray for Pastor Bill Skogan of Lighthouse Community Church (Gresham) and his wife Laura. Their 18-year-old grandson passed away suddenly this past weekend.

And please pray for the upcoming ADVANCE, that the Lord would open all of our hearts to receive His Word, His encouragement and the blessing of fellowship.

Update on InFaith CEO Search
Also pray for the staff in the InFaith Home Office in Pennsylvania as the mission’s board continues its search for a new shepherd for the nationwide ministry.  They had extended a call to a candidate in December.  But after prayerful consideration, he declined the position.  The board will be conducting an online discussion with InFaith field staff this Thursday to consider the path forward.  I will give you what updates I can in the following weekly memo.
