About Chairs and Prayers
Summer has officially begun. I am told today will have about 30 seconds less sunlight than yesterday. But that doesn’t stop the Son from shining through your local ministries. Several of your churches are sending kids to church camps or offering Vacation Bible School to the kids in your community. I would like to help get the word out. So far, one fellowship has responded to my note from last week asking about VBS dates: Hudson Park Bible Church (Rainier) just started their VBS yesterday. It runs through tomorrow. Please pray that their efforts to reach their community with the love of Jesus will bear fruit. Is your church planning VBS this summer? I would love to give folks a heads-up on the dates. Please drop me a note, as far in advance as you can!

Need Some Prayers?
Sandy area InFaith pastors and church leaders meet for breakfast and fellowship the third Wednesday of each month, usually at the Tollgate Inn in Sandy. You are welcome to join us to let your brothers and sisters in Christ share your burdens as we lift one another up before the Lord. The next scheduled breakfast is July 21 at 9 AM.
Date Change: Portland Pastors’ Prayer – July 29th
Portland area pastors – who usually meet at Woodland Park Chapel on the third Thursday of each month, will be flexing with the summer schedule. We will be meeting at Woodland Park Chapel at 10 AM on July 29th (rather than the 15th). Come flex with us as we, too, pray for the ministries of the churches of InFaith: Northwest Oregon.
Prayer Request: Frank Campbell
Please pray for pastor Frank Campbell, who has formerly served as shepherd at Garfield and Dodge Community Churches and now is part of Dover Community Church. Frank will have hip replacement surgery this Thursday, June 24th.
I will be out of the office June 28-July 4th as Caroline and I celebrate the 35th anniversary of the day the Lord united us as one. So there will be no weekly memo next week. May the Lord continue to richly bless you and may your work for Him bear fruit many times over!
