Summer is Just on the Horizon

As another week of ministry is underway, I thank God for being part of this wonderfully interconnected family.  Here are a few family reminders for this week:

Did you miss the deadline? Men’s Retreat at Camp Morrow    June 4-6
Sunday, May 23 was the deadline for registration for The Church on the Mountain men’s retreat, June 4-6 at Camp Morrow.  But something tells me that grace abounds at TCOTM.  So – if you or your mens’ group wanted to join in the food, fun and fellowship, I recommend you call the TCOTM office today at 503-622-4079.

Thanks Woodland Park Chapel!
What an uplifting experience we had yesterday visiting Woodland Park Chapel.  Thanks, Pastor Brad Gentry for inviting me to speak to your congregation as part of your Missions Month observation.  Thanks Susan Gentry for coaxing Caroline into joining you in song.  Thanks, all of you for your hospitality, prayers and support as we work together to represent Jesus in our communities.

What one photo would you use to depict the Lord’s work in your church?
I often use too many words to explain God’s work through our fellowship of churches.  As I work on our summer newsletter, I would love to shorten the text and put “a thousand words” in pictures.  If you have a great image of something the Lord has been doing in your ministry, I would love to see it!  Just email me a copy at thiscox@infaith.org .

Another reminder about directory updates for InFaith fellowship churches.
Here are a couple of easy ways to get contact information for any church in the fellowship:
(1) Go to www.nworinfaith.org and click on “Find a Fellowship Church.”  That will take you to an interactive map.  Click the box in the upper left corner for a list of all the churches.  Or click the number on the map if you already know the church location.

(2) If you are a leader of an InFaith affiliated ministry, go to www.nworinfaith.org/admin .  There you can download the 2021 Family Directory and print it out on your own printer.  If you don’t remember the password, drop me a note and I will give you the update.
