 Advent Baptisms in Carver
The Carver Church is celebrating, following a baptism service Sunday for two men in their fellowship.  Pastor Seth Lewis reports the Clackamas River was too cold, so they bought a livestock watering trough and held the baptism service inside the sanctuary.  What an exciting way to celebrate the first Sunday of Advent, by giving testimony to the saving grace of Jesus!

 NWXNW - December 13th at Hudson Park
Come prepared to sing at least one favorite Christmas carol!  Our last NWxNW gathering of the year will be held Monday, December 13th at 10 AM, at Hudson Park Bible Church (75212 Larson Road, Rainier) .  We hope to see several of you from the six churches in the far northwest area of our mission field, and hear your stories of how God is working in your community.

Sandy Area Pastors’ Breakfast  - December 15th
The fellowship continues in the Sandy area, Wednesday December 15th at 9 AM with our monthly breakfast at Tollgate Inn.  Pastors and church leaders in the easternmost part of our field will share a bite to eat and help prepare one another for your celebrations of the coming of Christ.

 Portland Area Pastors’ Prayer  December 16th
Many thanks to Pastors Brad Gentry and Steven Boyle for faithfully leading us to pray for one another, and for numerous InFaith-affiliated ministries in the area, each month at Woodland Park Chapel.  Join us this month, Thursday, December 16th at 10 AM at Woodland Park Chapel, 1914 NE 102nd Ave, Portland.

Of course, the biggest event of the month will celebrate the greatest event in all history – the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We trust you and yours are ready to remember the day “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” and to look forward in eager anticipation of the day He returns for His own.

Unless that return is before January 21, 2022 we will once again gather pastors, missionaries and their wives at Twin Rocks Conference Center on that weekend for our annual ADVANCE.  Click here to preregister!  More than half of the accommodations in the Lodge have already been filled with preregistrations, but we have plenty of cabin rooms still available.  Preregister today if you can…it sure makes planning a lot smoother!  😊

I just learned, as I was finishing this note, that my granddaughter Autumn’s open-heart surgery is scheduled for January 21st as well.  The doctor says all is looking well as her tiny body gains strength.  Please be in prayer for her that day, whether you can join us at the Advance or not.  We are praising God that He has watched over Autumn every day since her conception, and will have her in His hand always.

May He bless you richly as you celebrate the birth of His child, Our Savior, Jesus.
