He Prays for You...Please Pray for Him

OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH Pastors Mark Helmberger and Steven Boyle were among those who shared a time of intercession together at the September 30th Portland area pastors prayer meeting.  The next gathering is October 28 at 10 AM at Woodland Park Chapel.

NWxNW Ministry Leaders Gather  Oct 11th  10 AM
Pastor Scott Thompson of Holbrook Bible Church is hosting this month’s NWxNW ministry leaders fellowship.  This is the first time the group has gathered at the Holbrook church since we started up these meetings a year or so ago.  The address is 1900 NW Morgan Road Portland (off Highway 30 south of Scappoose).  Pastor Scott says he is providing the coffee and pastries.  We will all provide the prayer and sharing.

Sandy Area Pastors’ Breakfast    October 20th   9 AM 
Sandy area InFaith pastors will get together October 20th at 9 AM at the Tollgate Inn for our monthly no-host pastors breakfast.  Since I will be away at InFaith’s  national “Refresh” conference at Cannon Beach, the Sandy gathering is being coordinated this month by Pastor Thomas Robinson of The Church on the Mountain.  If you plan to attend, please contact Thomas at 503-622-4079.

Special Prayer Requests
Thank you again for your ongoing prayers for my granddaughter Autumn, born September 15 with Down Syndrome.  As the Lord has strengthened her, the doctors have begun planning her release from NICU, perhaps as early as this week.  Praise God!

 Also, please be in prayer this week and in the weeks ahead for Pastor Mark Helmberger of Woodland Park Chapel.  Mark is starting another round of radiation this week followed by immuno-therapy, as the Lord leads him through his battle with cancer.

May the Lord grant us peace and lead us all into His will as we walk with Him this week.
