Autumn is Home!

Praise God!  My granddaughter Autumn Grace is finally home with the family.  Her older sisters Catherine and Felicity got to hold her for the first time Monday morning.  We are so thankful for all of you who have prayed for Autumn through her 24 days in NICU.  Please continue to pray that her tiny body takes its nutrition and responds well to her new surroundings.

Pastor Appreciation Month Continues!
It’s not too late to tell your pastor how much you appreciate his service to the Lord.  Sunday (Oct 10) was Pastor Appreciation Day, but all of October remains Pastor Appreciation month.

Pastor Searches – Shiloh, Dover
Shiloh Basin Community Church and Dover Community Church continue to seek the Lord’s leading as they search for new pastors.  A couple other churches in the area are also without shepherds.  If you know any called and committed men of God who are interested in serving in a small, loving fellowship, please point them my way and I will se what I can do to help.

 Advance Preview (No I am not being redundant.)
Pastors, Missionaries and spouses: Watch your mail and email in November for registration materials for ADVANCE 2022 at Twin Rocks Conference Center in Rockaway Beach.  Mark your calendars January 21-23 and be ready to register as soon as materials come.  Lodge rooms fill up fast, but we will have plenty of cabin rooms available.  Our speaker in 2022 will be Pastor Ron McMullan, formerly of the Church on the Mountain and now pastoring a fellowship in Prineville.  Ron keeps trying to retire, but it seems like the Lord always has one more thing for him to take on!

 Sandy Area Pastors Breakfast October 20th
I am thankful to Pastor Thomas Robinson of The Church on the Mountain for coordinating this month’s Sandy Area Pastors Breakfast, Wednesday October 20th at Tollgate Inn.  The no-host breakfast and fellowship starts at 9 AM.

Refresh October 18-21
InFaith’s national Refresh conference is back on our Northwest Oregon Field, October 18-21.  Dozens of Faith Field Staff, leaders and missionaries (including yours truly) will gather for times of prayer, powerful speakers and moving worship, as we say “Goodbye” to retiring InFaith CEO Ridge Burns.

 Portland Pastors Prayer October 28th
Join me and Pastors Brad Gentry and Steven Boyle for the monthly Portland Pastors Prayer meeting at Woodland Park Chapel, October 28 at 10 AM.  Add your voice to our prayers of intercession for all the InFaith ministries and ministers in our area.

 NWxNW Next: November 15th
The NWxNW ministry leaders fellowship met at Holbrook Bible Church Monday (Oct 11).  Many thanks to Pastor Scott Thompson for the supply of pastries, coffee and juice.  The time of sharing and prayer was a blessing, and we look forward to getting together again, November 15th at 10 AM at Mayger-Downing Community Church.
